Data Extract Option Within Pipeline Run | SAP Commission

Data Extract is a feature available in SAP Commissions environments that uses Commissions Data Loader (CDL), configured on HANA Database.

This feature allows you to extract outbound files when running a pipeline.

We can configure the custom outbound file types in the CDL before extracting the files with the pipeline run. The files are stored in SFTP outbound folder. These Data Extracts can be run as a separate stage by itself or as an option in one of the pipeline sequence (Compensate, CompensateAndPay, Allocate, Reward, Classify, Summarize, Pay) by providing the File Type Name, while choosing the data extract option.

This is a great feature for Admins as they can opt for the file extract when only needed with the pipeline run, thus avoiding dropping a trigger file for the extract.
